Comprehensive care for early childhood.
We seek to achieve guaranteed early and timely development of children who are less than 6 years old. Health, nutrition, education and protection services must be quality services and can be reached by children, including pregnant women. Parents are also a key group to be addressed so they can discover their best skills to educate their children with love.
We advocate for improved education. So children can receive a quality education in an inclusive educational environment that provides them with meaningful learning for their lives. It must have a positive impact on their cognitive, emotional and social development; and it must respect their culture, language and their reality.
We fight against violence towards children in its various forms. We work to prevent and eliminate labour exploitation, sexual violence and physical and psychological punishment. We strengthen the national protection system and promote legal prohibition of corporal and humiliating punishment.
Child Rights Governance.
We promote the construction of an active and critical citizenship for children; and we promote their participation in public spaces where decision-taking that concerns their lives takes place. We strengthen their status as agents of change. In addition, we monitor the role and actions of the State regarding its compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
We are seeking a world where children, families and communities live without HIV infection and those affected can access their rights and live without stigma or discrimination.
Risk reduction and emergency response.
We work on prevention and risk management actions. We respond to emergencies by ensuring the recovery, care and protection of children
